WATERS HEATERS INC.
Many plumbing systems function well with basic equipment, but problem situations may call for additional equipment, such as sump pumps. They remove unwanted ground water, gray water, or sewage. There are three types of sump installations: conventional, gray-water and ejector pumps.
Conventional sumps pump seasonally high groundwater from under a basement floor and require a below-floor drain tile system and sump pit. Gray-water installations are similar, but the water comes from plumbing fixtures and must be pumped into a plumbing stack. Ejector pumps grind solid sewage, so they can drain a bathroom or an entire house.
